Meet The Nutritionist
Karlien Bester graduated in 2013 with a Master’s of Applied Science in Nutrition with First Class Honours from EIN. She is a Natural Nutritional Clinical Practitioner (NNCP) and a member of the Canadian Association of Natural Nutritional Practitioners (CANNP). Karlien has an ongoing passion for nutrition and health. She believes that optimum health in body, mind and spirit needs to be defined by the intricate network of body systems that depends on the raw materials that only a natural, whole, nutritious and balanced diet & lifestyle can provide. She encourages people to get the dietary and nutritional help and support on their journey that may be faced with health challenges, a lack of insight and knowledge, and/or a curiosity into their unique make-up to build towards a solid nutritional foundation that is key in health and disease.

INITIAL CONSULTATION

Recommendations, 45 minutes
During these two separate appointments, an in-depth nutritional analysis that evaluates your nutritional status, personal health, lifestyle, family health history, and a complete dietary analysis.
Once established and during your second appointment, recommendations that includes a customized plan that targets diet and nutrition, and lifestyle modifications based on the outcome of your Initial Assessment.

Insurance Coverage?
Insurance coverage from iAFinancial Group, Equitable Life, Greenshield Canada, Manulife, ClaimSecure and Blue Cross Alberta may be in effect ONLY if the corporation policy includes Nutritional Counselling as an option. A letter to your employer that requests nutritional coverage can be provided if no coverage is available.
